MULTICAST ‘S’ CASAMBI: Bluetooth control unit for LED drivers.
º Compact size: 120 x 30 x 22 mm. Ideal for integration into lighting fixtures.
º The MULTICAST ‘S’ is a wireless control unit for LED drivers with 0-10V, 1-10V, or DALI dimming interfaces.
º It is compatible with 0-10V (and 1-10V) analog control interfaces or DALI digital interfaces.
º Allows simultaneous (not individual) control of up to 20 drivers with 0-1 / 10V, or 20 drivers with DALI (option for 1 or 2 groups, DALI only).
º DALI Standalone: the MULTICAST ‘S’ serves as both a controller and a power supply, allowing direct control of an LED driver with a DALI interface without the need for an external DALI power supply.
º Never power the drivers directly from the module’s output without using an external relay in the 1-10V version.
º The MULTICAST ‘S’ is not designed to be connected to an existing DALI network. The module can only be used in a closed system, i.e., as part of a lighting system that is not connected to an external DALI network
º It is controlled wirelessly using the Casambi apps for smartphones and tablets via Bluetooth 5.0. The Casambi app can be downloaded for free from the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
º It can also be controlled using a traditional wall switch.
º Features an input for an external sensor.
º Casambi uses Bluetooth 5.0 mesh network technology so that each device also acts as a repeater. Longer ranges can be achieved by using multiple Casambi units. No external gateway module is required.
º Control range: 30 m indoors; 50 m outdoors.
º Maximum length of control cables between the MultiCast and the driver:
0/1-10V = 50 m
